Dearest Friends of the Billerica Farmers Market, THIS WEEK - Local Blueberry Season is in Full Swing! Look for Blueberry specials throughout the market to celebrate our Blueberry Festival. You’ll find locally picked blueberries from farms, blueberry lemonade from The Stand, blueberry and cream fudge from Fudge N Stuff, blueberry bundt cakes, blueberry breads & cookies, as well as other blueberry themed goodies, crafts and more from your favorite vendors. Take a journey through the growing season of a blueberry bush, from the spring sweep of beautiful white blooms to the harvest’s lush green canopy, peppered with fruit ripening to their unmistakable silvery-blue hue, and the colder, dormant period brightened by vibrant reddish-orange wood. BIG TENT - Get out of the sun, grab a spot in the shade and enjoy being with friends and family among the buzz of the market. KIDS TENT - Supplies are made available to make & take a craft. This week is sure to have a blueberry boost. COMMUNITY TENTS - Visit with our partners and learn about what is going on in our own back yard from The Better Business Bureau and WIC (Women, Infants and Children).

We want to hear from you. TAKE PICTURES - We want to see and show everyone all the fun going on but we can’t be everywhere in the crowd. Each week, we strive to present our community with an exciting assortment of nearby farms and vendors. You’re sure to find locally sourced vegetables, fruits & honey along with breads, hamburgers, hot dogs, sauces, empanadas, seafood, fudge, lemonade, baked goods, unique crafts, and much more! Stay for the live music, demonstrations, and activities under the big tent! Food trucks will also be on-site and many vendors offer ready-to-eat goodies allowing patrons to enjoy a snack after shopping.
